Human Crusts Collection - 2021/2022 - digital mixed media - 1/1

 

Semiotac’s ‘Human Crusts Collection’ comprises a medley of diverse portraits aimed at encouraging paused reflection on the uniqueness of each figure who nonetheless concurrently share a collective humanhood.

Each portrait is individually composed by the artist and the work is non-generative, making every image entirely unique.

The images are experimental - combining the use of digital software with photographic collage, stenciling, photography, and digital painting.

The Human Crusts collection is an organic, ongoing, & continuous work-in-the-making.

Semiotac has no idea how many human crusts there will eventually be in total. When a face speaks to her, Semiotac portraits it. This happens from time to time. Mostly when Semiotac is having a bad day and needs to make an image to destress & love the world again.
